+ How much notice do you need to schedule?

On average, around 3 days or so. However, properties located further away as well spring and summer session (busier times) are instances that may require more advanced notice. In general, it’s best to reach out and book your appointment as soon as you known when a property will be photo-ready.

+ How can I help prepare my client's (or my) home for a real estate photo shoot?

I'll send you my Property Prep Guide after you contact me, which will give you all the information you need to help ensure the property is ready to be photographed.

+ How long will the session take?

This depends greatly on the size of the home and consideration of any special instructions given. However, most homes under 4000 square feet should only take an hour or less to complete. Home prep also contributes significantly. Please ensure that all cleaning, staging and moving of items is completed prior to your appointment time.

+ Does the realtor or homeowner need to be there for photos?

Nope! I am very comfortable completing solo photo sessions and always leave a home as it was upon arrival. I understand that time is precious in this business so there’s no need to feel as if you must be present for photos. Simply detail any special instructions when booking an appointment.

+ What is the turnaround time?

24-48 hours.

+ How will I receive the images?

Large resolution and MLS-size images will be delivered via Dropbox within 24-48 hours.

+ How many images do you deliver?

This depends greatly on the size of the property; however, the average is 30-35 images.

+ Can you just ‘Photoshop’ that out?

Depending on the size and intricacy of the item(s) in question, digital alterations are addressed on a case-by-case basis. The minimum fee to ‘Photoshop’ is $20. From there, it just depends on the complexity of the request. It’s best to simply communicate the importance of preparation to your clients and have any staging or final adjustments completed prior to the appointment time. This ensures session efficiency and avoids rushing/scrambling, which often leads to overlooked items.

+ How can I pay for the session?

Check, credit card or Venmo. When your photos are delivered, there will be a PayPal link at the bottom of the email to complete payment. Please make checks payable to Abby Blossom Photography.

+ Do I own the photos?

As is standard practice in the photography industry, the photographer retains indefinite ownership of all images. Once the delivered photos are paid in full, however, you have full rights and privileges to use the images to market your homes in any way you’d like! This includes everything but distributing copies of the photos or granting access to third party entities. Check out the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of this page for details.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

I kindly ask for 24 hours notice if you need to change or reschedule your appointment. However, I understand that unforeseen situations arise when listing a property so please let me know if the situation is beyond your control. However, if I arrive at the property and it is not photo ready and you wish to reschedule there will be a flat fee of $185.

+ What if it rains?

All appointments will continue as scheduled unless the agent requests to reschedule. Inclement weather does not affect the ability to complete interior photos, but if it’s actively raining, it will likely show up in the image. If you wish to cancel you may do so, there will be no cancellation fee due to rescheduling.
